Terms and Conditions

By booking with Sol y Miel, you agree to the following terms:

Consultations

A 30-minute consultation may be booked for a fee, which will be applied toward your total balance if you proceed with a booking. Additional planning and coordination will take place after your booking is confirmed.

Booking & Payment

A 50% deposit is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance must be paid 24–48 hours prior to the scheduled service. No bookings are confirmed without a deposit. All final payments are non-refundable once submitted and the 72-hour grace period has passed.

Cancellations & Refunds

Deposits are refundable within 72 hours of booking, provided the event is not within 72 hours of the scheduled date. After 72 hours, deposits become non-refundable.

Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled event are non-refundable.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling is permitted with a minimum of 5–7 days’ notice and is subject to availability.

Guest Count

Final guest count must be confirmed no later than 72 hours prior to your event. Adjustments after this timeframe may not be accommodated.

Services & Setup

Setup and breakdown are included with all experience and styled setup services.

For food-only services, aesthetic setup is not included and must be booked separately as part of an experience or setup package.

Sol y Miel provides delivery and service to your chosen location. Clients are responsible for securing their event location. Services include only what is outlined at the time of booking. Additional requests may be subject to additional fees.

Timing & Access

Sol y Miel is not responsible for delays caused by late client arrival or lack of access to the event location. Service times will proceed as scheduled unless otherwise agreed upon.

Overtime

Service times are agreed upon in advance. A 15-minute grace period is allowed before and after the scheduled service time. Additional time beyond this will incur an overtime fee.

Travel

Travel is included within standard service pricing. Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside of the normal service area and will be discussed prior to booking.

Food & Allergies

All allergies and dietary restrictions must be disclosed prior to your event. Sol y Miel is not responsible for any allergic reactions due to undisclosed information. Sol y Miel is not responsible for the storage, handling, or safety of leftover food once service has concluded.

Weather

For outdoor events, clients are responsible for providing a suitable backup location in the event of inclement weather. Sol y Miel is not responsible for weather-related disruptions or conditions that prevent setup or service.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate event details, timely communication, and a clean, safe, and accessible environment for setup and service. Any items provided by Sol y Miel must be returned or made available for pickup as agreed.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Sol y Miel is not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, accidents, or emergencies.

Right to Refuse Service

Sol y Miel reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe, inappropriate, or differ significantly from what was agreed upon at the time of booking.

Damages & Loss

Clients are responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive staining of items provided by Sol y Miel during the event. Applicable charges for replacement or repair will be added to the final balance.

Photography

Sol y Miel may photograph setups and event details for portfolio and marketing purposes. If you prefer your event not be photographed, please notify us in advance.

Creative Direction

Sol y Miel maintains creative direction over all designs and setups to ensure a cohesive and elevated experience, while remaining open to incorporating your personal preferences.
